This may kill the performance of the query since it has to do an extra join. Keep that in mind.
Why are we changing the metric? Is there a background discussion about this?

From our meeting yesterday it is clear that we want to leave the top level metric as an aggregate of en-US and localized articles. We do want to separate en-US and localized articles, but not on the KPI dashboard. I'll file a different bug for that.
