Details

Mozilla will not load. When I look in the task manager, I see mozilla.exe as a process but it never actually loads on screen.
when did you download mozilla? was it a release or a nightly? Did you get the installer (.exe) build? If so, please run the profilemanager and create a new one.
Used installer (.exe), of release 0.8.1
Target Milestone: --- → mozilla0.8.1
Reporter what else is running at the time Mozilla wont run?
Target Milestone: mozilla0.8.1 → ---
I had some things running (VNC, MySQL, AOLimer) and it wouldn't run. I closed everything I could and tried again, and it still didn't work. I rebooted my computer, (for the first time in about a week) and mozilla now runs. So I don't know if its a problem with Mozilla or with WIN2k.
were you running apache and php by any chance?
I was running IIS 5.0 with PHP installed as a ISAPI application.
Marking as a duplicate of bug 53952 - DDE Issues are preventing the browser loading. this is reinforced b the fact that Rebooting corrected the problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 53952 ***
