78112 - Corrupt images when first drawn

This same behavior was seen in Bug 73195 when libpr0n was first introduced.  

Unfortunately, the partiall drawn images started happening again (Build 2001042908).

I first noticed it when I started Mail (no other Mozilla windows were open) and
the Mozilla dragon image had white lines through it.  Same thing happened again
on the initial paint when I visited http://www.zend.com/store/

It is random and I do not have a test case to consistently reproduce it.

confirming with win2k build 20010429.. (CVS opt)
I´ll arrach a screenshot. The screenshot is from a finished loaded page.
After I hit reload, the Images rendered correct.

This might be a possible cause for the crashes I have seen in the Mail with
opening a HTML message: in particular, the USA Today Daily Briefs.   Their main
image is an interlaced gif and it is drawn incorrectly when Mozilla crashes. 
(Build 2001042908)

Unfortunately, I can't capture a screen shot to show... :(

This seems like deja vu, from the corrupt image displays that occured during the
libpr0n landing (I'm not blaming anything/anyone, BTW) ... just noting some
similarities ...

I see the same problem on Linux, buildID 2001043014.  The images will be
repainted correctly after anything that triggers a window repaint, e.g.
close/open window.  A reload is not necessary.  There does not appear to be any
easily reproducable test case.

One site where I get this very often is

And it's almost always the monitor and printer (swedish: Skrivare) images that
are corrupted. Once you reload they look fine. I'll attach a screenshot of how
it looks when it's broken.

It's hard to reproduce. But if I clear the caches, both memory and disk, I can
most often reproduce it. Also it seems like it's more likely to show up if one
first goes to http://www.inetdata.se and then click "tillbehör" on the top. But
that's probably just some random thing.
