Started after using the Lenovo updater to update the drivers for the gfx card.

At least it's divide by zero, so it's not security sensitive.

Stacks are not useful here... but since you can reproduce, maybe you could reproduce in a debugger?

Will see if I can catch this in a debugger over the weekend (just infrequent enough to be a pain to try and reproduce on demand).

Ed, Intel released new 9.17.10.3062 drivers for Sandy Bridge HD3000. Can you try and test these drivers? I'm not sure if it will install though due to stupid checks by the Intel installer. You might have to uninstall the Lenovo version of the Intel graphics driver first.

Thank you for the heads up on the newer drivers :-)

I've since reformatted and am running Win8 with discrete graphics only selected in the BIOS (nVidia Quadro), since Optimus continually gave me problems. I'll have to switch back and install those drivers to test, but given the fun and games I've had when changing from Optimus and back in the past (with BSODs, breaking multi-monitor when docked etc), I'll need to find a time window where I can play about properly.
