Right now the facet code works but it is vulnerable. If ES goes down, the IA pages will be useless. There are a few things we can and should do. * Cache the results * Fallback to a database query This will allow us to return results even if ES is down. Also, less calls to ES is good. his isn't trivial, making this a 2pt.
Also this other commit that removes redundant caching calls and unstucks our jenkins test suite: https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/commit/6d3703a749e9dd4ccab6e514731b61c3f83cd614
