RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 733323

People

(Reporter: u448689, Unassigned)

Details

(Keywords: flashplayer)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1
Build ID: 20120717181344

Steps to reproduce:

I was on Allociné trying to watch the "American Psycho" movie trailer : http://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=24847.html . Then I clicked on the button labelled "Voir la bande-annonce".

I'm running Firefox 14.0.1 on an up-to-date Arch Linux x64.

Actual results:

The browser crashed instantly, even in safe mode. Using flashblock makes the webpage load properly, and the trailer can be seen by clicking on the disabled video without any issue.

Expected results:

The webpage should load without crashing the browser.
Keywords: flashplayer
Right click on "Voir la bande-annonce" and choose "Open in a new tab" doesn't crash the browser.
I need to get Firefox with debugging symbols to do this. I'll try.

Here's the error output when I run it from the terminal :

 > geecko@arch ~
 > $ firefox
 > Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: Ne peut ouvrir le fichier d'objet partagé: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
 > ###!!! ABORT: X_CopyArea: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter); 3 requests ago: file /build/src/mozilla-release/toolkit/xre/nsX11ErrorHandler.cpp, line 190

Hope it helps.
