NN4 has a button to load images on demand. I envision something like this for
Java applets: browse with applets disabled (and mark the applets in the page
with a broken cup icon ;-) and when I encounter a page with a necessary applet,
I press a button and the applet is loaded.
Another good idea. Marking NEW.

I'm waiting for all the issues associated with bug 26516: lazily load java, to

Related to this, it'd be useful to have the ability to manage which sites have
permission to use Java as well as JavaScript (like Moz's managers do now with
cookies and images). Konqueror currently does this.
dupe of bug 19118 ?
No, this does not look like dup of 19118.

BTW, Andrew does not work on OJI anymore

Preferences->Advanced->Enable Java (checkbox) can meet this requirement?
