great, thanks Ty.

Mike, can we incorporate a nice transition between the pages? meaning, if you click from the mission page to about and about to mission, the elements don't pop around but slide into place somehow? if not that's ok... again just trying to find some subtle ways of making these extra cool for phase 1.
Looks very nice...what's the next step here?
Hi Ty,

Can you explain why the page content (banner and movie) starts higher on the Mission page compared to the About page?

When going back and forth between the pages in the mozilla.org main navigation, it feels a bit jarring, visually, to have the main content in the template (the banner and where the content starts) change placement and break the nice grid structure you have. I would suggest anchoring the banner, since that is the first queue for what the pages are about.

This will be a nice template to adapt for the other mozilla.org main nav pages. We could use a modified version of this template for updating the Products and Get Involved pages. Are those pages in the scope of this project as well?
Hi Holly,

Actually that was an error on my part. I was wanting to see what the layout would look like with the content raised, and sitting on top of the photos. The final layout does reflect what we have done with the About page, which i have attached now to this bug.

With regards to the Get Involved page, I believe this page will be updated too, just not sure of the bug number. The Products page was recently updated and I from what I recall is not part of this update.
For Webdev.

Hey Ty,

Cool.

I think that my other thoughts about the Mission and About pages are things we can address in phase 2: If we use the exact template and header for both the Mission and About page, we should have a reason for being consistent in these 2 pages and not with the others (ie: Products and Get Involved). I worry that we will keep redesigning areas of the site with different templates and no real overarching system to why we follow one template here, but not elsewhere. This isn't just a visual issue. Having a set of reusable templates, css, etc, will also help dev time. I'll do an eval of mozilla.org soon to look at the architecture (breadcrumbs, right navs, local navs, etc.) and also check with Sean for how the styleguide can help us define better consistency for templates throughout the site.
