Under advice from mrz, filing a bug for a VPS for a BuddyCloud [1] instance. Where the users will mainly come from (Europe, America, etc): Everywhere! What will run on it (wiki, bugzilla, podcast system, blogs, etc...) BuddyCloud, so the node.js BuddyCloud server, a XAMPP server, a webserver and postgresql. An estimation of the number of visitors (or bandwidth used) Not entirely sure... Do you have a sysadmin to manage the server? Yes! (Me) Linux distro: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS or Debian unstable [1] https://buddycloud.org
This is for the reps program as a whole so definitely approved!

Am in talks with :leo on irc. This may not need to be a VPS, if we can spin up, say, a KVM host with less hassle/cost. Will get this VM, however we decide to implement it, for :leo to start playing with.

I tried to find you on irc. This is externally hosted (not on Mozilla infra). What sort of review do you need to do? It's more or less Community Hosting and we don't currently review the software stack there.
As long as this is not being hosted on an existing Mozilla web property and not being billed as a new service I don't see any issues with proceeding on an experimental basis. If it moves past that we need to do a security review as part of the effort for IT to set up proper hosting for it.

FYI, I believe I've got this figured out. Waiting on the root password after a reinstall.
A new VPS was ordered, waiting for MozDenmark to process the charge. :Leo is listed as the Admin contact and should be getting an email when it is created. I don't see the VPS listed in the Mozilla dashboard yet.
I don't see the VPS having arrived yet on the OVH dashboard. Will figure out what the status is.
This paperwork got lost along the way. We talked with intl accounting and the charge never went through. I've reordered the vps. Fingers crossed this will be done next week :)
