Details

(Whiteboard: b2g-desktop-builds)

Steps to reproduce: 1) Load http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/b2g/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/ Actual results: No .deb packages. Expected results: Expected to see Ubuntu-compatible .deb packages that have the right metadata to add an apt repo for updates upon installation.

We don't have these for desktop firefox, and that's designed to be used as a desktop platform. Packaging B2G, which is really for developers, doesn't seem like it'd be a high priority. There is a lot of infrastructure that's required for the updates. I'm marking this as WONTFIX, but when Firefox has .deb packages, we can re-evaluate providing them for B2G

Unless we want more people developing for B2G. > I'm marking this as WONTFIX, but when Firefox has .deb packages, we can > re-evaluate providing them for B2G For Firefox itself, people get .debs from their distro, so there's less reason for Mozilla to provide .debs for Firefox itself.
