This works, but when I plug my phone into my laptop, I get two events. First "unavailable" and then "shared".  So the Gallery app UI first says "Install an SD card" and then says "Unplug your phone".

That's okay because the unavailable state is transient, but it would be nicer if it only sent one event in this case.
