Firefox Mobile 15 beta 5 build 1
Device: Motorola Droid 3 (Android 2.3.4)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a website with a lot of text like planet.mozilla.org
2. Long tap on any word to select it.
3. Move the selection handles.
4. Scroll the page a bit.

Expected results:
The selection highlight is updated as the selection is activated or changes

Actual results:
The selection handles are displayed but the highlight is displayed only after the user scrolls the page. 

Notes:
I was unable to reproduce the issue on other devices ( Samsung Google Nexus (Android 4.1), Motorola Droid Pro (Android 2.3.4), HTC Desire Z (Android 2.3.3))

The issue is not reproducible in Firefox 15 beta 1 build 2. I will work on getting a regression window

There are a lot of changesets in this range, it'd be good to narrow it down to a particular change-set (or at least a smaller range)

That can't be right. There's a Gonk only fix in there.

The change in the mozilla-inbound regression range isn't contained in the mozilla-central regression range in comment #6. Perhaps you bisected through the wrong set of inbound builds?

Sorry for the previous comments it seems though this issue is reproducible only after multiple tries.

I can trace this issue as far as Nightly(21-06-2012) when it was implemented so i don't think this is a regression.

Does this only happen on the Droid3? I can't reproduce it on my GN. It might be a bug in the text selection code, or it might be an invalidation bug.

Like Adi said on comment 0, the issue is only reproducible on Droid3. I was unable to reproduce the issue on other devices ( Samsung Galaxy Note (Android 4.0.4), Acer A500 (Android 3.2), HTC Desire Z (Android 2.3.3)

There is nothing to do in this bug. Comment 10 says this is reproducible from when the feature was added. If you need the device QA has this in MTV.
