User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 Build ID: 20120601045813 Steps to reproduce: Sollicited by my navigator (Firefox) to update my current version, I let my system to upgrade to version 14. (I am under Vista 32 bits familial edition premium SP1. (If I accept SP2 level, my system is failing !!!) Actual results: So, once Firefox 14 is installed, it is UNPOSSIBLE to access internet with it !!! To access internet, I have to use Internet Explorer Expected results: I expected to still access internet, obviously ! To well understand I made this upgrade twice with SAME RESUTS each time. To resolve the UNCOMPATIBILITY, I had to REMOVE ENTIRELY Firefox et REINSTALL the version 13 which works perfectly.
Why do you not fix your system to be compatible with SP2? In addition Windows Vista SP1 is EOL since July 2011.
I don't think that developers will spend their time to support a system patch level that is already EOL since 2011. We would accept patches but it's possible that this depends on the compiler and the switch happened recently to a newer version (Visual studio 2010) Have you already tried http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode to be sure that this isn't caused by something else ?
> If I accept SP2 level, my system is failing !!! What does that *exactly* mean? Sounds rather like *that* problem should get fixed, instead of Firefox.
System patch Level Iis EOL and we have no other reports about such issues
