I am running Beta 15 and Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) on an iMac. Many times when I "Restart to Update" to a new major or minor version, Firefox will hang. This has been happening for months. Sometimes I must force-quit Firefox, but other times the "About" window will report multiple "Unresponsive Script" warnings pointing to XPCOMUtils.jsm line 323. https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/360ab7771e27/js/xpconnect/loader/XPCOMUtils.jsm#l323 Frustratingly, I am unable to reproduce the problem by installing an older build and manually forcing an update. This suggests an addon might be leaking resources such that Firefox must be running for a long time before the update process will hang. Do any of the following addons have known problems? Is there anything I can do to help debug or log what is hanging when I update? I have the following extensions installed: * Adblock Plus 2.1.2 * Always Ask 2.0pre * Find Toolbar Tweaks 3.0.0 * Ghostery 2.8.0.2 * HTTPS-Everywhere 2.1 * PDF Viewer 0.3.452 * YouTube quality manager 1.2 * Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 1.2 (DISABLED) I have the following plugins installed: * AmazonMP3DownloaderPlugin 1.0.16 * QuickTime Plug-in 7.7.1 * Shockwave Flash 11.3.300.271 * Silverlight Plug-in 5.0.61118.0 * Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in 10.1.3 (DISABLED) * iPhotoPhotocast 7.0 (DISABLED) * Java Applet Plug-in 14.3.0 (DISABLED)
I can no longer reproduce this problem.
