Using recent builds, you can no longer bookmark a directory, because instead the
entire hierarchy rooted at that directory is added via a data source. You can't
get back to the directory you bookmarked, because that bookmark is treated as a
bookmark folder, not a bookmark itself, as you'd expect. This is a regression,
having worked in older builds. You can bookmark directories in popular broswers
like Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and Opera.

Did you fix this since I mentioned it to you? Directories bookmarked a while
back are still acting like folders, but I seem to be able to create new
directory bookmarks that behave properly.

I think this was fixed (folder view turned off) some time ago.

mass-verifying claudius' Fixed bugs which haven't changed since 2001.12.31.
if you think this particular bug is not fixed, please make sure of the following
before reopening:
a. retest with a *recent* trunk build.
b. query bugzilla to see if there's an existing, open bug (new, reopened,
assigned) that covers your issue.
c. if this does need to be reopened, make sure there are specific steps to
reproduce (unless already provided and up-to-date).
thanks!
