Details

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:10.0.7) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.7

STR:
1. Open Firefox 10.0.7 ESR
2. Open https://www.outlook.com/
3. Log in (used a hotmail account)
4. A message will be displayed advising to upgrade to a newer version of Firefox.
5. Select new message
6. Attempt to type something in the message content box.

Actual result: no cursor, text box not accessible and compose new message virtually unusable.

This works fine with 14.0.1.

Testing with other versions:
9.0 the same as 10.0.7 and 4.0's layout is broken.

Judging by the message in step 4 and testing other versions, I assume that the webmail is only optimized for older versions of Firefox, so i'm filling this under Tech Evangelism.
In case this was not clear, Firefox ESR users won't be able to use outlook.com until the version upgrade to 17 if this isn't resolved on outlook side.
Not tracking this for ESR10 then, we're close enough to ESR17 release and this affects a small enough portion of users that there's not a concern here to block release or to pull resources away from other areas for this.
Outlook is RIP.
The new mail service from Microsoft is https://mail.live.com/
If there is a bug with ESR and mail.live.com, please open a new bug in the Desktop Component. Thanks.
