User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20120827 Firefox/16.0
Build ID: 20120827042008

Steps to reproduce:

I did a print preview on this page:

http://www.boston.com/sports/2012/08/29/daniel-bard-returning-red-sox/dad0zRPhwsbCOliZd5o7KK/story.html

Actual results:

The second page had a colored logo across the top that should not be there (see attachments).

Expected results:

Extra logo at top of second page should not be there. See second attachment from IE8.

This problem has been in many versions of Firefox.
Someone please tell me how to add multiple attachments.
Aurora is 16.0a2 (2012-08-27)
Running on Windows 7 Enterprise, 32-bit
I'm unable to duplicate the problem at home with either profile. I'll try again at work tomorrow. If I do see the problem again (at home), I'll switch to the new profile to see if it is still there.
I am still able to see the problem at work. Starting with a new profile makes the problem go away. I took my existing profile and turned off all add-ons, and made the browser start using the default open page, no gmail, not google news. Problem still there.

I'm going to let Firefox Sync populate my new profile and see if the problem returns.
If your current profile has a whole bunch of add-ons/themes, try in safe mode, maybe one of them is the culprit. If that works in safe mode, disable them one by one to find the culprit.

I had already disabled all the add-ons in the bad profile. That did not fix the problem. I have re-installed all the add-ons (maybe 6 or 7) in the new (good) profile. That profile is still working without the problem. So I don't believe it was related to add-ons.
Safe mode disables hardware acceleration and some features in the JS engine. It could be an issue with HWA maybe.
I re-started in safe mode - no change, bad profile still demonstrates problem.

I normally have HW acceleration turned off, as it causes window shadows/artifacts on my screen.

And it's not just a HW thing, the actual printout will show the same bad logo as the preview, on the top of the second page. In other words, preview is true to what will be printed.
Component: Untriaged → Printing
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
WFM with Windows 64 bits on 16b3.

Jim, is this still an issue on your work computer?
After creating a new profile, this is no longer an issue.
Thanks. I'll close this then.
