User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
Build ID: 20120824154833
Steps to reproduce:
Maximized Mozilla Firefox.
Actual results:
The top bar where various tabs are shown became transparent. 3 main buttons, minimize, restore, and close could not be seen. 3 buttons will NOT work UNLESS menu bar is shown.
Expected results:
I don't think the top bar is suppose to become absolutely transparent. The 3 buttons should be visible and working. When minimized, the bar becomes black.

Component: Tabbed Browser → Untriaged
I see this sometimes when plugging in/out my laptop charger (this switches between my laptop's two graphics; intel HD and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650).
This action also switches from windows aero to basic, and back to aero (note that I am always using the aero theme).
I do not have hardware acceleration enabled.

Please test with the basic troubleshooting steps:
1) Start Firefox in safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
2) Try with a new profile (don't import anything): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Leave the Aero theme on Windows meanwhile. Does you issue still reproduce in these cases?

I have been able to reproduce this in both safe mode and with a new profile.
When I unplug or connect my laptop to its charger, which switches gpus, the Windows "theme" automatically switches from aero to basic and back to aero within a couple of seconds.
Considering this, I'm not sure if "theme" is the right component for this bug.
Reopening.

I get this bug too on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20130222 Firefox/22.0 ID:20130222031133 during quick changes of themes triggered by screen sharing sessions on Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2.
