STR: 1) visit the amazon mp3 store and fine an album with in-page mp3 samples 2) hit the play button result: no music is played The stock android browser successfully plays these files.
I used this desktop URL in Fennec: http://www.amazon.com/MP3-Music-Download/b/ref=sa_menu_dmusic8?ie=UTF8&node=163856011 The player shows up and seems to try to play.
I tried a couple here on the Galaxy Nexus and seemed to work.
(In reply to James Willcox (:snorp) (jwillcox@mozilla.com) from comment #2) > I tried a couple here on the Galaxy Nexus and seemed to work. Yes. I can confirm the individual albums and the "play best sellers" do play. I switched to Wifi, from 3G and they worked fine. When I was on a weak 3G signal, they did not work. I walked around a bit to get a stronger signal and both played again. I think it was a connection problem for me. Marking WFM.

Also note: I switched the Plugin setting from "Tap to Play" to "Enabled"
With the Plugin setting on "Tap to Play", we download an m3u file instead of playing. I also did not notice any Tap to Play doorhanger.
Indeed, if the Plugin setting is switched to "Enabled" everything works as expected. -- Firefox 18.0a1 (2012-09-11) Device: Galaxy Note OS: Android 4.0.4
