(Whiteboard: dupeme?)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1
Build ID: 20120905151427
Steps to reproduce:
Using "Manage Search Engines" changed to something other than Google (in my case DuckDuckGo).
Actual results:
When searching from the search box everything works fine.
However
When typing a search in the address bar, the search still takes place within Google, when I would expect it would now take place using whichever alternate search engine had been selected.
Expected results:
Search take place with search engine specified in "manage search engines" (DuckDuckGo in this instance)

A similar request for SeaMonkey, fixed: bug 441882.
There might be older requests of this for Firefox, though I couldn't find them.
