This mockup is a small revision to the way that the “email me revisions” link work.

First, it’s a blue button located directly underneath the title. Second, it has a white mail icon. This should clarify the intent and function.

In the interest of time, I did not work on the checbox-based UI when you click on this. It can be improved, but I want to know how contributors and localizers would use it first, before I change anything else.

But some of my thinking on the UI includes providing a good default set of options.

So we would still have all five checkboxes on there, but above it, we’ll put something along the lines of “Give me the default set of notifications that I care about if I am a Reviewer”, and “Give me the default set for Translator”. And then the relevant checboxes would be clicked when you select either options. It’s much simpler, puts less cognitive burden on the user, and not hard to do UI-wise.
