Expected results:

Since 2012/05/29, IDN characters are indeed allowed. See http://www.gt/politicas_de_registro.html (look for 'Reglas de Sintaxis').

Note that second level domainnames are also allowed since that date. The entry in the public suffix list should be:

gt
com.gt
net.gt
org.gt
ind.gt
edu.gt
gob.gt
mil.gt

The exception for www.gt is not needed anymore.
