Crash Data

Try to reply to an email at yahoo mail, even with no addons or plugins enabled. Begin typing the reply (hold the period key if you like). Wait about 5-10 seconds with the period key held in. Browser crashes. Windows 8x64 RTM with latest 32-bit nightly (9/27/12)
Is it 100% reproducible for you?
Does it happen in Safe Mode (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode)?
Can you provide the crash ID from about:crashes?
Keywords: stackwanted
100% reproducible for me. The previous build I was using was from 9/16. I could not make the 9/16 build crash at all. I am at work now and cannot troubleshoot this further until very late tonight Eastern Time. I did not try safe mode, I only tried using the browser with no addons and no plugins enabled. It crashed 100% of the time with or without the plugins and addons enabled.
Ok it crashed in Win7x64 SP1 also. Here is the crash ID :
bp-ece2f03f-20b5-4eb9-b74a-364eb2120927

I could not crash the browser in safe mode. What is the difference between safe mode and manually disabling all addons and plugins? Hardware Acceleration perhaps? I do have it enabled on my work machine (win 7) and my home machine (win 8). Thanks for looking into this.
Build Identifier:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0 ID:20120927030539

I can reproduce the crash
STR:
1. Reply to an e-mail at yahoo mail
2. Hold down "a" key for a 10sec and key up
3. And the Hold down Back Space key

Actual results:
The browser crashes.

Today's build does not seem to be crashing anymore for me. The gmail patch seems to have fixed yahoo mail as well.
Thanks for looking into this. Much appreciation!
In this case, dupe of bug 794947 :)
