Steps to reproduce:

I installed FF ESR 10.0.7 on Windows XP and want to import IE favorites into FF.

Actual results:

At first start of FF the import wizard comes up.
I select at Import Options "Bookmarks, History, Passwords and other data from: Microsoft Internet Explorer".
The import wizard reports success on all imported items.

After completing the import wizard there are no imported favorites in the bookmarks menu.

Expected results:

I tested the same with the ordinary FF 15.0.1 and heere the favorites are listed in the bookmarks menu as it should be.
So what should have happened is that the ESR version should have a working import wizard like the normal version of FF.

A migration rewrite for IE landed in Firefox 14 along with other smaller fixes. None of those got backported to ESR because they are things that had been broken for many releases and aren't security fixes. The next ESR version (17) targeted for this fall will have these fixes and I don't think we'd backport this.
