Using may08-09 commercial trunk build
When I've sent (later) while offline, message properly goes to unsent messages
in Local Folders. When I use File|Work Online and click the Send button in the
alert dialog to send unsent messages, they are not sent and remain in the unsent
folder.
1. From mail window, already logged into IMAP account, haven (previously)
downloaded messages for offline use in the INBOX.
2. File|Offline|Work Offline. I chose Don't Download in the dialog which pops
up. I am offline.
3. While offline, I create a new message or reply to one which had been
downloaded for offline. I click Send Later button or use the compose window
menu item.
4. I checked the Local Folders/Unsent Messages folder. Message(s) is there.
(Note: I tried several times, some times with a single unsent message, some with
more than one. From same author or varied. All results were same.)
5. File|Offline|Work Online. I chose Send in the pop-up dialog so as to send
the unsent messages. Nothing happened.
6. Checked unsent messages folder and message(s) still present.
Result: Unsent messages not sent.
I see we have an older bug about offline/send later from before the offline ui
landed. Don't know if we want to carry that forward since at that time I could
never get Send Unsent Messages to work after going online from using the
File|Send Unsent Messages menu item. At this time, I can indeed get Send Unsent
Messages to send if done "manually" once I'm online again. So I don't know that
we have the same situation... anyway see bug 75434.

fixes checked in - I think the problem was if you went offline in a session
using the menu item instead of the icon, composed your email, and then went
online in the same session, some state in the offline manager wasn't cleared so
we didn't sent the mail.

Tested 2001060104 commerical build on NT 4.0
Tested 2001060108 commerical build on Red Hat 7.0, linux 2.2
Tested 2001060108 commerical build on Mac OS 9.0.4
Follwing steps to reproduce I have determined that the
Send later option now works.
But I was unable to test on Linux due to a problem
with going offline/online/cache/dns server bug 82468
I'm pretty confident it works on linux to. I am going
to leave this bug as 'resolved' until they fix the other
bug or until someone else says its ok to mark as 'verified'.
Tested trunk 2001060708 build on linux 2.2, redhat 7.0.
Send later works perfectly fine in that build.
Reverified that send later still works in branch builds:
2001-06-07-13-0.9.1/ - win nt 4.0
2001-06-07-03-0.9.1/ - mac os 9.0.4
and it still doesn't work in branch build for linux:
2001-06-07-13-0.9.1/
So though it doesn't work in the current linux branch build, offline problems
in Linux will be released noted so I will mark this bug as verified.
