Stub installer shows a progress bar while downloading but does not display "remaining time".

What is displayed was designed by UX so cc'ing a couple of UX folk to see if they would like this changed.

Yes, it would be good to give some indication of time remaining and whether or not it has stalled.

How about something like that?
I think we shouldn't try to show the exact time (in seconds) because that usually ends up being very jumpy.
So the text would either say »[n] minutes remaining« or »Almost done« (when less than a minute is remaining).

Thanks Philipp! I will try to come up with something as time permits.

With the installer redesign we deliberately elided the download and install phases. This would surface their distinctness in a way that is possibly not useful to the user.
