1. go to http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55896607/rect.htm
2. tap on the top left area to enter full screen

Expected: request fullscreen dialog should appear
Actual: request fullscreen dialog does not appear and it goes straight to full screen.

I have the same issue with the given URL (and in other projects) using Samsung Galaxy S3 Firefox 42.0.1, Android 4.3.

Additionally I have the following issues:
- After going fullscreen, the page doesn't seem to update anything anymore (no animation).
- When pressing the "options" button during fullscreen mode is active, the options dialog does not appear.
- when pressing the "back" button on the phone to leave fullscreen, the whole page still freezes but te options dialog apear. When now opening a new tab, the whole new page remains blank. Opening the list of tabs I see all tabs with current images, but selecting one of the tab doesn't show anything more. All tabs seems to be frozen but still running in the background.

Using a Galaxy S3, Firefox Nightly v45 and the testcase in comment 0. 

1. I get an animation but the framerate is quite poor. (using a Nexus 5x performs well)
2. unclear what options button is, if it is the menu button then that is the expected behavior
3. I don't see this using the testcase from comment 0

I would suggest filing a new bugs. More than one bug would be best as it makes diagnosing the specific issue much less complicated. 

This bug seems to be worksforme as there is a notification that you have entered fullscreen. Desktop no longer has an alert to accept fullscreen.

Kevin, I just installed the nightly build and everything seems to work fine there. 
Hope to see this issue fixed in a next update as fullscreen mode (and all tabs when entered fullscreen) is not usable in the current release on this mobile configuration. Do you need anything from me right now regarding this issue? Shall I file a new bug even if it seems to be fixed in the nightly?
