I have two POP email accounts set.
New messages are downloaded for both accounts, but Mail window indicates the
messages arrived only in one mailbox. This happens only when I launch the mail
the first time.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create two Mozilla email accouns, make sure new messages check on startup and
automatic messages download are enabled.
2. Send a message to both accounts.
3. Close browser.
4. Start browser.
5. Start mail by clicking on "Mail" icon on the status bar.
6. On the status bar of Mail window you can see both mail servers are connected
and messages are downloaded.

Actual Results:  The Inbox folder for the first account indicates the messages
arrived. The text of the folder name is in bold and displays number of new messages.
The Inbox for the second accound does not indicate the new messages arrived.

Expected Results:  Both folders indicate new messages arrived.

Are you sure if you had logged into that second account?  Can you verify this to
make sure you save the password for both the accounts and then send a message
close the application and launch again.  The reason I am asking you is because
message indication on the second account depends on the prefs that you have
checked in the account/settings.

I think, I'm logged in. Both accounts have the same settings (for different
servers). I saved the passwords for the accounts when I started to use Mail. Now
I'm never asked for a password.

2) As I mentioned before the status line shows the messages are being
downloaded. Status line displays: contacting host..., message (1/1)...
When I visit the second account new messages indicator changes very quickly,
without contacting to the mail server.

confirming the bug..
2 pop accounts and an imap account in a profile
2 pop acconts has check mail at start up checked, biff [1] min, auto download 
checked.
send a mail
before the message is received close the app completely
launch browser
click on the mail icon in the task bar

Results:  the first account reflects the mail arrival
          account level arrow, inbox level arrow and unread count changes in the 
folder pane, and the thread pane message is downloaded

second account-I did see the green arrow at the account level. but inbox showed 
no change in unread count, no green arrow. Message seems to be downloaded for 
the second account when I click on the inbox.

Expected: As per the settings with check mail at startup, biff, auto download 
checked. Both the accounts should reflect the same way.

Could it be that auto download seems to be working for only the first account 
and not the second one? Also biff arrow would show up at the inbox level if the 
message had been downloaded right?  I am pretty sure this was working before 
with multiple accounts.

I too noticed this in the past. I will reproduce this with current builds as per
steps provided. Meanwhile, let me know if you have noticed any difference
depending on the server type (i.e., POP3 or IMAP).

This doesn't happen anymore. I see new message arrows at all levels. Checked
with both IMAP/POP accounts whose passwords are remembered. If you still see,
please update with steps to reproduce. Marking WFM.

You right bhuvan, I am not able to see this on recent builds.  I am verifying 
this as worksforme-2002-01-14-06 win98
