Details
Currently when one visits a URL in a Private Browsing tab and closes the tab, an entry in the Top-Sites and History pane will be created (as well as entries on about:home).
No URL's should leak out from Private Browsing.
(New profile)
i) New Private Browsing tab → (e.g, "http://www.msnbc.com")
ii) Close the newly added tab
iii) Visit the AwesomeScreen and look at the new entry in the Top Sites and History panes (as well as entries on about:home)

This is expected. See bug 723005.
Brian, thinking about this a bit more, it might have been a bad decision to expose this in Nightly until the platform bits are fixed. Surely we can make it a build-time option and people who know that this might be broken can do/download their own builds, right?
