I think this is 'critical' or 'blocker', so changing to 'critical'.
ylong, please check 5/9 build so we can narrow down.
This is Macinotsh only, right?
Severity: normal → critical

05-09-08 Mac trunk build has same problem. I didn't see this on 05-10 Windows
though.

Okay it started on 5/9 and Macintosh only.
Here is a list of check in (hook of 5/9)
http://bonsai.mozilla.org/toplevel.cgi?treeid=SeaMonkey&batchid=528
And here is a hook list of 5/8 (since the carpool was done this day which is
included in 5/9 build)

Cc to jst, in case he has any idea, anything your XPCDOM change possilby related?
ylong, could you explain abut the description below?
>Once you start typing, only can got separate full width Ascii character,
Is that possible to take a screen shot?

I don't see how the XPCDOM landing could've caused this (I'm not saying I'm sure
it's not 'cause of the XPCDOM landing, but it seems unlikely), the IBMBIDI
landing seems like a more likely candidate for regressing something like this.
I'm happy to help debug this if it seems like it's related to the XPCDOM landing.

Yuying, I looked at 5-09 trunk Mac build on your machine. I do not see this problem.
I think you are using Zenkaku alphabet input method to type Japanese characters.
Please make sure you are using Zenkaku Hiragana to convert the character to Kanji characters.

The problem was the Japanese IME was marked as Zenkaku Alphabet - I don't know
why the marked as this way by default when I finished install 05-10 and 05-09
trunk build. And when I go back to checked 05-08 build, it just typing fine.
I'll mark it as invalid. Sorry about this.
