Either the link opens in the current page AND a new tab or the link opens twice in two different tabs. Either way, I'm getting the page twice. Expected results: Links should open in a single new tab. I have had tab mix plus installed for years, so I don't know if it's causing a problem with the new code in FF 17 Beta 1. But I've never had this problem before. Also, I was going to try disabling tab mix plus, but the add-ons tab in FF 17 won't open. So, it appears that I'm experiencing two bugs. Shall I create a separate bug for the add-ons issue?
>but the add-ons tab in FF 17 won't open That is a bug caused by tabmixplus fixed in their developer version. Just start Firefox in the Firefox safemode: Help/restart with addons disabled Disable tabmixplus in the now working addon manager and restart in the normal mode.

I did manage to get into the addons tab by starting FF in safe mode. I then disabled TMP, but when I restarted, FF was acting so flaky that I just reverted back to version 16. When a stable version of 17 is released, I will try again and see if the original issue, two pages opening when clicking on a link, persists. Thanks.

Apparently, TMP is still not fully compatible with the released version of FF 17. I had to start FF 17 in safe mode just to get to the add-ons tab. Once I did that, disabled TabMixPlus, and restarted FF 17, things worked normally. However, since I really like TMP, I once again reverted to FF 16 so that I can continue to use it. I don't know how closely you guys work with plug-in developers, but it looks like TabMixPlus definitely needs an update.

Marking the bug as invalid since it's not a Firefox issue. artee37, you can find contact details for the developer of the add-on on the add-on webpage (the page where you got the add-on). If you contact him, perhaps he will fix this issue.
