Crash Data

This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is
report bp-05febc76-81e2-474f-8d84-c8d402121015 .
=============================================================

This annoying crash happens reproducably when tapping on a link to a .crt file of MIME type application/x-x509-ca-cert. Instead, I want the certificate the link points to to install as a CA certificate.

I assume all details can be gleaned from the Socorro report; if not, then I'm happy to supply them.
It might be a dupe of bug 763813.
Component: General → Graphics, Panning and Zooming
OS: Linux → Android
Hardware: All → ARM
Summary: crash in mozalloc_abort → crash with abort message: "We need a context on Android: file /builds/slave/rel-m-rel-andrd-bld/build/gfx/layers/opengl/LayerManagerOGL.cpp, line 175"
Whiteboard: [native-crash]
Crash Signature: [@ mozalloc_abort | dalvik-bitmap-2 (deleted)@0x24511f] → [@ mozalloc_abort | dalvik-bitmap-2 (deleted)@0x24511f] [@ mozalloc_abort(char const*) | NS_DebugBreak_P | mozilla::layers::LayerManagerOGL::Initialize(nsRefPtr<mozilla::gl::GLContext>, bool)]
This may be helped somewhat by bug 826300 and bug 785597.
Depends on: 785597
I can reproduce the crash on the jan 11 nightly, by clicking on the link to https://www.mozilla.org/certs/mozilla-root.crt on https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozillaRootCertificate. After bug 785597 landed this no longer crashes but instead displays the cert add dialog. It can't be interacted with at all, and it's in a separate XUL window so it's really botched, but it's better than a crash. Maybe. This still needs more work.
Same as bug 807606?
Yup.
