Steps to reproduce:

Try to share a page URL from the browser (reader mode also).


Actual results:

I tried to share it with the toolbar action, all the share options (Twitter, Facebook, SMS, etc.) were there but when I selected one of those nothing happens.


Expected results:

After selecting the share method, i.e. Twitter, open my Twitter client to share the URL in Twitter.

This works for me on Nightly (10/16); on my Galaxy Nexus.

Can you report which build and which device you are using, and which URL too?

Device: Galaxy S i9000 (galaxysmtd)
ROM: CM10 build 20121014
Firefox: Nightly from yesterday 19.0a1 20121016

I flashed the ROM today to update it and I got the same behavior as when I first reported the issue (I was running CM10 too, but an old build).

With everything updated everything is the same, I try to share the link and I can't. Firefox offers to me the options to share, but when I touch them nothing happens at all. Any ideas?

Maybe something is botched with hooking up the services in CM10.

Hi,

I've a bit more of information for debugging the issue. The interesting thing is that within Reader Mode, if you click the lower bar (the one for configuring reader mode) and then chose to share the page, that works without problems. But if you try it with the menu button from the mobile it fails. Thus, let's say that what it is not working in my device is via the menu button.
