Hojoki App shows 'this app is having problems' message on startup.  Pressing reload doesn't help, though sometimes when 'Back' is pressed the app content is briefly shown before closing.
It's an indication that it's not loading properly.  Can you check : if you have a network connection and also could you try capturing the logcat during this time of trying to launch the app?

the network connection is fine with other apps on the phone, and with the same app on Android though I suppose its possible the connection loss is being handled better there.  Can you point me to how I can do the logcat capturing you mention?
