We want to update the webdev auto-response to be more relevant for people by adding information about using web skills to work on Gaia as well as checking out Webmaker to learn web skills. Draft text is at https://etherpad.mozilla.org/contribute-webdev-response
Luke just made some tweaks and the text on the etherpad is now ready to go. I'll submit a pull request for this soon.
The new webdev auto-response is now live. Apologies for the delay in getting this posted -- we went slowly to avoid interfering with the localization process for the Get Involved page.
