It would be great to have the bash-completion package installed by default in MozillaBuild, along with completion files for packages like Mecurial that provide their own. The latest stable version bash-completion 2.0 requires bash 4.1, but bash-completion 1.1 works with our current version (bash 3.1): http://bash-completion.alioth.debian.org/files/

Not going to happen until the switch to msys2. Then it'd be trivial.

Though bash
already has helpful features like
filesystem-completion built-in, the bash-completion
tool
enables helpful completions for many other tools that are
common in Linux-y environments, such as tar
.
