User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121010144125 Expected results: Firefox's Bookmarks Manager is a really crud way to manage our bookmarks. I have almost 1000 bookmarks. The Awesome bar and tags help me a lot to search them. But sometimes I would like to have better tools to organize them. Firefox has Smart Folders, but It only works with keywords. I would love to see Advanced Filters for Smart Folders. Think of Finder/iTunes Smart Folders/Playlists, there are many criteria that can be used to refine the search. I would love to see the same UI in Firefox. We could refine our search with: - Number of times visited - Creation Date - Modification Date - Search keywords in : - Name - URL - Tags We could combine these criteria or exclude a particular one.

Thierry, it looks like this idea hasn't been talked about for a while. Would you like to look at the current UI and refine your idea further in this bug?

What I have in mind, is something similar to the advanced filters feature you can find in many Mac OS X apps. For example, I have attached a screenshot (in French, sorry), of the advanced filters of Finder on Mac OS X . The first line is the scope of the search. Then come the advanced criterias that can be combined.
