Entering text on app.noodletalk.org gets funky. Whole words disappear. Not sure if it's Firefox, SwiftKeyX or Android at fault. Works fine in desktop firefoxen. Device: Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android: 4.1.2 Keyboard: SwiftKeyX 3 Firefox: Nightly, Oct 20, 2012 build.

Does it happen when you backspace, similar to Bug 770291 or Bug 792928? Or are there other actions that trigger it?

No, this seems to be occurring when hitting a space. I'm not clear on whether SwiftKeyX is performing an autoreplace then or if it's some other interaction. I need to retest with today's version anyway, will report back.

yeah, still failing. Happens when entering a word and a space though not always. Things to do: 1) Test with the default android keyboard 2) Distill the text entry area from app.noodletalk.org into a minified test case.

Hmm seems like you need a paid app.net account to get on noodletalk? Bug 805162 is going to fix a lot of the keyboard issues in Fennec, so I would revisit this bug after that one lands.

Rob, can you test again with the latest nightly? Thanks!

tested this just now and text-input is much-improved. I'll mark this fixed. Thanks!
