Steps to reproduce:
I tried to start up the latest aurora build of Firefox18 on my Suse 11.1 system.
Actual results:
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /data/common/firefox/firefox18/libxpcom.so:
libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.
If I try to embed this version in my wrapper-application I got the following during startup:

Expected results:
Firefox should start up normally when used native and also when used embedded.
Severity: normal → major
Crash Signature: XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /data/common/firefox/firefox18/libxpcom.so:
libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Couldn't load XPCOM.
OS: Windows 7 → Linux

openSuse 11.1 saw its end of life on 13 January 2011. I'm closing this as WONTFIX as you run an ancient insecure system full of security vulnerabilities - no good reasons to investigate and definitely not a P1 priority.
Note though that there are similar reports out there, like bug 723487.
