When Firefox OS is in lock screen mode the cpu load goes up to 90-100%. Once you unlock the device the load drops down to about 9%.

When screen is locked:

PID PR CPU% S #THR VSS RSS PCY UID Name
   43 0 98% R 30 177324K 64856K fg root /system/b2g/b2g

After unlocking the screen:

PID PR CPU% S #THR VSS RSS PCY UID Name
   43 0 8% S 31 178348K 65372K fg root /system/b2g/b2g

Run 'adb shell top' to see those details.

Not sure if that's also happening on real devices but if that's so, such kind of cpu load will drain the battery a lot faster. Can anyone please check that? I do actually not have a real device.

Requesting blocking-basecamp for now so that we have that on our radar.

I think we need to know if this happens on the device before we block on it.

This is known. Bug 780692 will reduce the CPU usage. Not a blocker.

Removing qawanted per comment 2, since the issue is known.
