Steps to reproduce:

Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P7500, Android 3.2, using "German Keyboard (Android keyboard)" or "Samsung Keyboard". Put the caret in the middle of a length text in a <textarea>, press the backspace key and keep it pressed.


Actual results:

Begins with deleting characters to the left of the caret (expected), then deletes whole words to the left of caret (expected, too), but then starts to delete characters to the right of the caret, too (not expected).


Expected results:

Only text to the left of the caret should be deleted.
