STR: 1. Play a YouTube video 2. Open Social sidebar. (The video will freeze, which is bug 805331.) 3. Right-click on the (frozen) video RESULT: Flash's context menu pops up hundreds of pixels to the right and below the mouse pointer. I'm using Flash plugin 11.5.500.80 (Beta) on Mac OS X 10.8.2. This bug first appeared in Nightly 2012-10-14. Here is the regression range between 10-13 to 10-14: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=57304bbf9c0e&tochange=942ed5747b63 Bug 626245 looks suspicious because it is related to plugin geometry.
Does it make a difference whether or not HiDPI mode is on?
No. I set gfx.hidpi.enabled=-1, restarted Firefox, and I still see the menu problem. I'm not using a Retina display, btw.
This should be fixed by the patch in bug 805331.
Depends on: 805331
Verified fixed in Nightly 19.0a1 (2012-11-04) by roc's fix for bug 805331.
