From Bugzilla Helper: BuildID: 2001051308 I have a mouse with five buttons. 4 and 5 does nothing in mozilla. What I would like to see is a support similar to the one in IE. In IE mouse button 4 makes the browser go a page back and number 5 makes it go forward. This is a really nice feature if you have a mouse that support it. ( like the razorboomslang at www.razorzone.com) It can make browsing alot nicer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Press mouse button 4 or 5 Actual Results: Nothing happens...:( Expected Results: Make the browser go back (4) or forward (5)
This bug WORKSFORME with Intellimouse Explorer Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9+) Gecko/20010513 I also have the ms intellipoint drivers installed. It will most probably come down to weather intellipoint is installed. Support will obviously need to be given for people without. It would also be good if the buttons could be reporgrammed to do stop, reload etc.
