Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.77 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.19 i686) BuildID: 2001050717 (0.9) If /dev/dsp is busy, mozilla hangs on start waiting for it to free up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start xmms and play a MP3 stream off the web 2. start mozilla Actual Results: Mozilla hangs. Expected Results: Mozilla starts! ;) Running 'strace mozilla' shows it waiting on /dev/dsp to free up. If you stop xmms, mozilla then continues to load. This is on a RedHat 6.2 Intel box using the 0.9-0 RPMS from the mozilla ftp site. 0.8 RPMS did not have this problem. Shockwave Flash 5.0 r47 is detected in my netscape plugin directory and loaded - perhaps this is the problem.
Flash is indeed the problem. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 58339 ***
