You'll need to check out part of the mozilla.org repository, where the Thunderbird site is being stored. You can:

svn co https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/

Please translate the file in the mozilla.org svn repository for the Thunderbird 17 What's New page, that is:

/ro/thunderbird/17.0/whatsnew/index.html

If you want to provide a translated image, you can place it in: 
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/img/whatsnew/l10n/
The image name should be:
appmenu-ro.png

Once the image is on the server, the page will automatically update the <img> tag. You do not need to change it.

The page on the staging server is:
http://www.allizom.org/ro/thunderbird/17.0/whatsnew

Mulțumesc de comentariu. Sunt traducător începător așa că am nevoie de îndrumare :)
1: Am reușit să configurez Notepad++. De cod HTML voi avea grijă.
2: Nu sunt abonat la nimic căci nu știu cum, încă nu am găsit.
