Due to bug 812927, we need to make the following blocks * Java Plugin 6 updates 33 through 36 (click-to-play), Linux ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p179 * Java Plugin 6 updates 36 and lower (click-to-play), Mac OS X ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p175 * Java Plugin 6 updates 33 through 36 (click-to-play), Windows ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p173 * Java Plugin 7 update 7 and 8 (click-to-play), Linux ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p171 * Java Plugin 7 update 7 and 8 (click-to-play), Windows ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p169 * Java Plugin 7 update 7 and 8 (click-to-play), Mac OS X ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p167 target FF18 and up. As follow-up to bug 810984, we still need to make sure that * Adobe Flash 10.2.* and lower ** https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p160 only targets FF18 and up now (or FF16 and lower). The intent of bug 810984 was to ensure that *no* versions of Flash were going to be CTP blocked.
These blocks will also need a minimum version of FF18. * Adobe Reader 10.0 to 10.1.3 ** https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p158 * Adobe Reader 9.5.1 and lower ** https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p156 * Silverlight 5.0 to 5.1.10410.0 ** https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p154 * Silverlight 4.1.10328.0 and lower ** https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/p152

Once we have determined what we're doing about major CTP blocks, we can look into adding other version ranges.

For the blocks set to Firefox 16 and lower, what is the expected UX? I don't think CTP exists in Firefox 16. For example, Flash 10.2 on Windows 7 with Firefox 16.0.2 displays an infobar block after pinging staging.

Adobe Reader 9.0, Silverlight 5.0 are not blocked on FF 18b1.
(In reply to Paul Silaghi [QA] from comment #6) > Adobe Reader 9.0, Silverlight 5.0 are not blocked on FF 18b1. Sorry, it's expected due to bug 812927. Please forget about it.

Please forget about it. Actually is not bug 812927. Reader and Silverlight doesn't seem to be blocked in FF 18.
We are currently only blocking Java and Flash on 18 and above. All other blocks are limited to 17 and below or 16 and below.
Something is not right. After pinging, Flash 10.1.85.3, 10.2.159.1 and 11.2.202.235 does not seem to be CTP blocked in FF 18 RC.
