The JS team tracks this test via AreWeFastYet, and the Talos variant has proved less reliable than AWFY at catching real regressions. We can reduce tree management noise by disabling it.

This would remove it from all branches.  If we are all in agreement on that (which I think we are), then lets land this.

As an added comment, we need to remember to clean talos up.  It isn't required to turn this off, but will be confusing if folks see it included in talos.

Do you mean remove the files from the repo?

yes, remove the files and test definitions from the repo.

Sure, happy to do the talos repo cleanup too. Will do in a separate bug, given different repo & this needs to be in production before we can land any cleanup.
