On the PandaBoard, the FTU app stops responding before showing the first setup dialog. I can reproduce this reliably.

STR:

  - boot B2G on PandaBoard,
  - wait until FTU starts,
  - a Firefox logo is shown,
  - then display becomes white and no dialog appears

Expected:

  - the first setup dialog (i.e., language selection) is shown

Hi, I encountered this issue on Hamachi device too.
I used the workaround almost the same with you for avoiding it first.

I encountered also this issue when I tried porting b2g on a tablet device known as allwinner a13 tablet.

The workaround worked fine in this case too.

I recently built master for the PandaBoard and the FTU now works nicely. I guess, I can close this ticket then. Thanks to whoever fixed the problem. The workaround still works with v1-train.
