Device: B2G Test Driver device. build identifier: 20121115145434 git commit: 2012-11-14 09:49:28 1c884f4129 Current settings: Background image set with the gallery application. The image is lager than the screen and subset used is offset within the image. STR: - Go to the settings menu. - Tap on Display. Observed: The top border (gray border with the back button) and buttons (Adjust automatically & back button) appear, and disappear after ~150ms. The back action is still working fine and the blue overlay triggered by it appear as expected. The background image does not show up in the expected area, only white is filling the image. The black border of the image is visible as well as the text, the screen timeout drop-down menu and the “brightness” section (with a gray background). Probably another Bug: When not adjusted automatically, I can see the top of a second slider which seems to be actionable (no idea what it is except probably a brightness maximum). Expected: Being able to see the top bar including its back button.
Could you provide some screenshots please ?

Could you reproduce it in recent release ?

(In reply to dscravaglieri from comment #3) > Could you reproduce it in recent release ? I tried to reproduce it with the same image, but the way I set the background previously no longer works. Add Bug 816647 as a dependency of this one, such as I can confirm this bug as soon as it is fixed and distributed to test-driver phones.
Depends on: 816647
Depends on: 821675
Apparently the feature used to set the background, as described in Bug 821675, was an unexpected feature. Thus I marking this bug as Invalid since it cannot be reproduced with the latest builds.
