Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20.0 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20121127030907 Steps to reproduce: If you attempt to zoom content and then pan, Firefox for some reason assumes to know better than the user and chooses a new view port on his own.
OS: Windows 7 → Android
Hardware: x86 → ARM
Please provide more specific steps to reproduce, like a URL on which this happens.

Well given that it's on EVERY site. I didn't quite think I'd have to walk through this, my bad. Let's take Hacker News for example. Go to front page, zoom into let's say the centre of the content (horizontally) of the page and watch Fennec scroll to the far left.

Do you have pinch to reflow text turned on in the settings? This is likely caused by that.
I do indeed has the setting enabled. However, that doesn't negate the fact that it's doing more than advertised.
